[Intended to be depicted in the third season of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, was ultimately never filmed]
Months later after their trip to Tokyo, the Jones family found themselves in Melbourne, Australia, where Indiana was able to meet the renowned magician and escape artist Harry Houdini.
Although the details of this trip are vague, it’s been said that Indiana accompanied Houdini on the first successful flight over Australia, at a time when the magician was fascinated with aviation.
To date Houdini is credited by some sources as the first person to fly in Australia, however other sources contradict those claims.
Nonetheless it would only be a few months later when the Jones family World Tour would come to an end, and by that August they all had returned to Princeton.

Amongst his expositions in flight, Harry Houdini was a Hungarian-American illusionist and stunt performer - leading to his reputation as the greatest magician of all time.
